Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement the organization\'s financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Financial Management and Reporting:
- Oversee preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide timely reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage cash flow, investment strategies, and working capital to optimize financial performance.
- Accounting and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee audits, tax filings, and other statutory obligations.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and identify training needs.
- Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, legal, and regulatory frameworks.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary financial liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities. Support leadership in fundraising, mergers, acquisitions, or other strategic financial initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), C or equivalent qualification.
- MBA in Finance or related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in financial planning, budgeting, and strategy.
- Experience in managing audits, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and risk management.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
