Job Details
To act as a legal support to management, business units and functions for BGSW IT business.
To have a deep understanding of the IT business IT and ITES services
To support Legal Risk Management and compliance with laws and regulations for BGSW IT business.
To work closely with other departments and teams within the company to ensure that legal and compliance considerations are considered in all business decisions
To draft, review and negotiate various types of IT contracts - SaaS, PaaS, T&M contracts etc.
Responsibilities
Drafting and reviewing various corporate agreements, frame contracts and other legal documents in collaboration with relevant business managers.
Anticipating and identifying legal issues of concern to the organization and proactively developing practical solutions.
Keeping track of developments in applicable laws and sharing impact with business teams.
Research into new laws, regulations and developing legal jurisprudence which may affect the business and advise on risks and mitigation strategies.
Conducting training sessions for business stakeholders.
Participating in global initiatives run by Central Legal function.
Ensuring adherence to all applicable statutory compliance.
Institutionalizing best practices for litigation and documentation management with an objective to increase efficiencies.
Initiating cross functional efforts to drive organizational alignment.
Developing professional relationships with law firms, senior counsels, and consultants for strengthening legal capabilities.
