CA - Manager-Internal Controls 2 to 4 years in Mumbai

Job Description

• Assisting the Team Lead in reviewing the operations of allocated business as well as support functions from internal control perspective
• Performing process, system walkthroughs & control testing to highlight gaps, lapses & non-adherence to policies, SOPs
• Maintaining adequate working papers, evidence of all activities performed to facilitate effective & timely review by the Team Lead
• Liaising with internal departments to effectively implement the corrective action plan

• Assisting the Team Lead in conducting review of entire spectrum of branch activities (for allocated branches)
• Assisting the Team Lead in tracking & monitoring branch self- assessment exercise

• Assisting the Team Lead in review of policies & SOPs
• Assisting the Team Lead in conducting training sessions with departments on policies  SOPs

• Liaising with Internal Audit team & various auditee departments to ensure smooth, timely & effective completion of quarterly Internal Audits (by external consultants)
• Closely tracking the closure of open observations previously highlighted by IA

• Assisting the Team Lead in any other specific, ad-hoc review assignments, as & when requested by the Management
