Cost Accountant, 3 to 6 years in Faridabad

Job Description

• Perform day-to-day product costing on SAP S4 Hana to ensure accurate cost assignment.
• Analyze and update product costing data based on changes in raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Review and validate cost estimates, bill of materials, and routing for all products.

• Perform all CO month-end activities including cost allocation, reclassification, and adjustments.
• Ensure proper allocation of costs from relevant ledgers to cost centers.
• Analyze and reconcile cost accounts during month-end to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Manage all CO-related activities within the SAP system for the plant.
• Maintain and update cost centers, internal orders, and profit centers.
• Monitor cost variances and provide analytical support to ensure cost-effective operations.

• Prepare and present cost analysis and variance reports to management.
• Provide insights on cost reduction opportunities and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Track, report, and control costs to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and finance teams to provide costing support for new products, pricing decisions, and changes in production processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
