Cost Accountant, 1 to 5 years in Hyderabad

Job Description

• Perform cost analyses and create detailed cost reports for management.
• Maintain and improve cost accounting processes, including standard costing, overhead analysis, and variance analysis.
• Review cost structures, budget variances, and profitability reports.
• Assist in product pricing by analyzing manufacturing costs and suggesting pricing strategies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for internal use and regulatory purposes.
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives.
• Work closely with other departments, including procurement and production, to monitor operational costs.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with financial standards and cost control procedures.
• Provide recommendations for cost control and reduction strategies.

• Professional certification such as CMA/CA/ICWA is highly preferred.
• 1-5 years of experience in cost accounting or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and MS Office (particularly Excel).
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
