BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Monitoring of workplace activities to ensure that workers (everybody) comply with company policies and government safety regulations.
- Planning and execution of Safety Audit plans.
- Plan and implement safe working systems.
- Implement and monitor legal / Factory Act provisions related to Safety.
- Plan and implement Emergency Preparedness plan.
- Implement and monitor Operational Health, Environment and Safety related systems.
- Plan and give training to employees, including contractor employees, on the subjects related to Safety.
- Analyze industrial incidences (Accidents and First aid injuries) or occupational diseases for cause finding and prevention.
- Review the progress of findings and corrective actions initiated from audit and incidences.
- Liaison with Government Officials for all SHE related legal compliances. DISH (Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health), Pollution Control Boards, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of Safety related systems and practices.
- Know how to conduct Safety Audits and suggest corrective actions.
- Know all legal requirements related to Safety to be implemented in Automobile /
Engineering industry, small Petroleum installations, Occupational Health,
Engineering industry, small Petroleum installations, Occupational Health,
Environment & Safety Management system.
- Thorough knowledge about various Personal Protective Equipment.
- Should have exposure to work in cross functional team activities.
- Possess good communication, negotiation & computer skills.
- Should have innovative approach for doing improvements related to safety.
