Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Leadership:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company\'s and clients\' long-term objectives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO, board members, and clients based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Oversee all financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • SaaS Product Development Support:
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide financial expertise and insights.
  • Help design and validate financial workflows and processes within the SaaS product.
  • Test and provide feedback on the software to ensure it meets financial regulatory requirements and user needs.
  • Financial Management and Reporting:
  • Manage all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and control functions for the company and clients.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored CFO services.
  • Assist clients in improving financial performance and achieving their strategic goals.
  • Provide training and support to clients using the SaaS product.
  • Innovation and Process Improvement:
  • Experiment with new financial technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices.
  • Adapt to changes proactively, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Encourage innovative thinking and experimentation within the finance function.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Master\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of senior financial management experience within Indian companies.
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning, risk management, and leading finance teams.
  • Experience with technology-driven solutions or involvement in software development projects is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
