Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company\'s and clients\' long-term objectives.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO, board members, and clients based on financial analysis and projections.
- Oversee all financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- SaaS Product Development Support:
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide financial expertise and insights.
- Help design and validate financial workflows and processes within the SaaS product.
- Test and provide feedback on the software to ensure it meets financial regulatory requirements and user needs.
- Financial Management and Reporting:
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and control functions for the company and clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Client Engagement:
- Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored CFO services.
- Assist clients in improving financial performance and achieving their strategic goals.
- Provide training and support to clients using the SaaS product.
- Innovation and Process Improvement:
- Experiment with new financial technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices.
- Adapt to changes proactively, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Encourage innovative thinking and experimentation within the finance function.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior financial management experience within Indian companies.
- Proven track record in strategic financial planning, risk management, and leading finance teams.
- Experience with technology-driven solutions or involvement in software development projects is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
