Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial policies. Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow reports on a regular basis to senior management.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the companys budgeting process and create financial forecasts to support business planning.
- Taxation: Handle all aspects of taxation, including direct and indirect taxes, filing returns, and ensuring timely payments and compliance with tax laws.
- Cost Control & Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of cost optimization. Provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
- Liaison with Stakeholders: Act as the point of contact for banks, auditors, and government authorities regarding financial matters.
- Financial Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks, ensuring that financial controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 5 years of post-articleship work experience.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and auditing practices.
- Preferable experience in a hospital, pharmaceutical, or medical distribution setting.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of financial laws, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
