Qualification: CA

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Audits:
  • Conduct statutory audits for companies in line with auditing standards.
  • Review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare audit reports, identify issues, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their financial processes.
Income Tax Audits & Representation:
  • Conduct income tax audits in compliance with the Income Tax Act and relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and file tax audit reports (Form 3CD) and assist in tax planning.
  • Assist clients in tax returns, timely submission, and address any income tax scrutiny/appeal-related queries.
Client Interaction & Advisory Services:
  • Regular communication with clients to provide updates and resolve queries.
  • Provide advisory services on financial management, tax planning, and compliance.
Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient audit execution.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, providing training and support.
Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid ICAI membership.
  • 2-5 years of experience in statutory audits and income tax audits.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, income tax laws, and auditing standards.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office tools.
