Job description
a) Advisory with regards to GST, Withholding taxes, Accounting standards, Cross border Tax structuring and others.
b) Monthly review of Accounting, Payroll, MIS/ Reporting to parent entities & regular compliances which include GST filings, TDS, Equalization Levy, Professional tax, PF/ ESIC filings & others.
c) Preparation of responses for any tax queries & litigation related to Income tax, GST, Transfer pricing and discussing with subject matter experts at the firm.
d) Year end finalization of balance sheets & direct & indirect tax filings for clients. Liaison with the auditor to ensure completion of audits.
e) Handling a team of 2-3 members and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
f) Resource will be guided by a Senior Manager/ Partner who heads the vertical
Experience of working in the field of Statutory Audit & Internal Audit (both during Article-ship and post-qualification) and good communication skills would be preferred.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- 1-3 years of post qualification experience in GST, Income tax & Regular compliances.
- Basic Knowledge of International tax preferred but not mandatory.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
