Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client-focused regulatory and legal management: You will be the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for all aspects of regulatory compliance, legal documentation, and corporate secretarial tasks
  • Managing regulatory compliance for AIFs, REITs, and SM REITs under SEBI regulations.
  • Handling RERA compliance matters including project registrations, ongoing compliance, and litigations.
  • Overseeing IFSCA GIFT City related legal and compliance matters.
  • Preparing and reviewing:
  • RERA documentation and periodic filings.
  • Offering documents, trust deeds, and investment management agreements.
  • Sale Deeds, Agreement for Sale, Development Agreements, etc.
  • Coordinating with SEBI, RERA authorities, and IFSCA for regulatory filings and approvals.
  • Conducting due diligence for:
  • RERA compliance of real estate projects.
  • REIT assets and AIF investments.
  • Managing corporate secretarial compliances for regulated entities.
  • Supporting fund structuring and regulatory strategy.
  • Monitoring and implementing regulatory changes affecting AIFs, REITs, and real estate sector.
  • Assisting in RERA dispute resolution and litigation matters.

Requirements:
  • CA/CS/LLB Graduate with strong academic credentials.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations, REIT Regulations, and IFSCA regulatory framework, RERA Act and state-specific RERA rules.
  • Understanding of trust laws, securities laws, real estate laws, and corporate laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both English & Hindi).
  • Strong drafting skills for regulatory documents and legal agreements.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities in regulatory matters.
  • Ability to interpret and implement complex regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proactive approach to compliance and risk management.
  • Client interaction skills and ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the field of financial services and legal compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship or experience in a legal or financial services firm.
  • Familiarity with SEBI regulations & GIFT City regulations.
  • Knowledge of international financial services regulations.
  • Familiarity with fund documentation and regulatory filings.
  • Understanding of real estate transactions and securities market operations.
  • Experience in handling RERA registrations and compliances including litigation matters.
