Job description

Accounts Management
  1. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
  2. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  3. Assist in MIS preparation, analysis of the performance, budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights to improve financial planning.
  4. Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all audit requirements.
Compliance Management
  1. Ensure adherence to local, state, and central financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  2. File statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and other tax-related documents, accurately and within deadlines.
  3. Monitor and maintain compliance with corporate governance policies and procedures.
  4. Assist in implementing and improving internal controls to mitigate financial and compliance risks.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and advise management on necessary adjustments.
Documentation and Reporting
  1. Maintain meticulous records of financial transactions and compliance-related activities.
  2. Generate periodic compliance and financial performance reports for management review.
  3. Prepare documentation for compliance audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
Team Collaboration
  1. Support senior management with financial data analysis and reporting.
  2. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
  3. Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff as needed.
Key Qualifications
  • Education:
Chartered Accountant
  • Experience:
Post qualification: 0-3 years. Additionally, At least 35 years of experience in accounting and compliance, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with tax laws, compliance regulations, and corporate governance practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP B1, Zoho preferred) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Hands on tools such as Power BI and other tools are preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
