Job description
Role & Responsibilities

Assisting Company Secretary in the following :

  1. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the company\'s operations.
  2. Prepare and file statutory returns and other legal documents as required by law.
  3. Organize and facilitate board meetings, general meetings, and committee meetings, including drafting agendas, preparing minutes, and managing follow-up actions.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
  5. Advise the board and senior management on corporate governance matters, including best practices and emerging trends.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
  7. Manage communication with shareholders and respond to inquiries or requests for information.
  8. Liaise with external legal counsel, auditors, regulators, and other relevant stakeholders on behalf of the company.
  9. Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure that the company adapts its practices accordingly.
  10. Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective risk management processes.
  11. Handle any other duties or special projects as assigned by senior management


Qualifications:
  • Qualified Company Secretary / CS (Professional) / CS (Inter).
  • Good understanding of corporate law, governance principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
