Job description
Role & responsibilities :
- To review and propose changes to the Company accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
- To supervise and approve all month end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation of subsidiary or other associates Company.
- To finalize and approve the Company Balance Sheet, P& L Statement, Cash Flow Statement, ITR Returns, TDS Returns, GST Returns for submission within the stipulated timeline.
- To liaison with External Auditors, Tax and Treasury Manager to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities through annual report.
- To liaison with various Banks, Financial Institutes, NBFCs to avail financial facilities for the Company.
- To analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the Companys actual performance compared to the business plans, to prepare a summary feedback financial Statement with variances to Budget and submit the same to the Management within the stipulated timeline.
- To advise Management on investment activities and provide strategies to reduce annual tax burden on the Company.
Preferred candidate profile :
- CA cleared, with 10 to 20 years experience in Manufacturing Industry.
- Minimum 5 years experience as Manager in a reputed Company.
- Hands on experience in managing a team of 8 to 10 personnel.
- Hands on experience in liasioning with the govt. bodies, like IT, GST, PF, ESIS etc.
- Expert level knowledge in the Accounting and Bookkeeping principles.
- Expert level knowledge in Direct and Indirect taxes and Statutory provisions.
- Excellent knowledge of Statutory Audits and norms.
