Job description
Role & responsibilities
1. Accounts and Financial Reporting (30%)
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
2. Banking and Cash Management (25%)
- Manage banking relationships, including account opening, maintenance, and closure.
- Ensure efficient cash management, including cash forecasting, cash flow management, and liquidity management.
- Negotiate with banks to secure favorable interest rates, fees, and terms.
3. Treasury Management (20%)
- Develop and implement treasury strategies to optimize cash management, funding, and risk management.
- Manage foreign exchange exposure, including hedging and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
4. Compliance and Risk Management (15%)
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
5. Financial Analysis and Planning (10%)
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
Preferred candidate profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Experience with accounting software, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
