Key Responsibilities:1.Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- - Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- - Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
2.Stock and Inventory Management:
- - Maintain and update stock statements.
- - Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
- - Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to ensure accurate inventory records.
3.Purchase and Sales Management:
- - Record and manage all purchase and sales transactions.
- - Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices and receipts.
- - Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
4.GST Compliance:
- - Timely filing of GST returns and ensuring compliance with all GST regulations.
- - Stay updated on changes in GST laws and implement necessary adjustments.
5.Bank Reconciliation and Cash Flow Management:
- - Reconcile bank statements and manage daily cash flow.
- - Monitor and manage company bank accounts and financial transactions.
6.Internal Audits and Controls:
- - Conduct regular internal audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- - Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.
7.Software and Communication Skills:
- - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally 9) and MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- - Ability to write and respond to emails professionally.
8.Compliance and Regulations:
- - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- - Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
9.Collaboration and Support:
- - Work closely with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
- - Provide financial training and support to non-financial staff as needed.
Requirements:
- - Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- - Professional accounting certification (e.g., BCOM , CPA) is a plus.
- - Minimum of [4] years of experience as an accountant, preferably in a similar industry.
- - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and GST regulations.
- - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally 9) and MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
